Samsung confirmed in an refurbish on a village site that all variants of a Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 should be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo within 3 weeks.

While some variants of a 2017 Galaxy S8 and Note 8 phones already have a Oreo handling system, not all carrier/country variants have been strike with Google’s latest update.

Samsung wrote over a weekend:

We know that many of we have Unlocked Galaxy S8/+ and Note 8 inclination and might be wondering given those with Carrier models are saying a updates first. The reason for this is that Unlocked inclination contingency go by some-more severe contrast than Carrier-specific inclination given we need to make certain there is correct network functionality opposite ALL upheld networks …

With this being said, we’re operative with a Carriers to get Oreo out to ALL authorised Galaxy S8/+ and Note 8 inclination within a subsequent 2-3 weeks.

Google touts Android Oreo as providing a “smarter, faster” chronicle of Android. Samsung began pushing Oreo in February. However, a refurbish had a glitch and was pulled. Samsung has been solemnly rolling out a bound chronicle since.

Samsung launched a Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus flagships with Android Oreo progressing this month.
