Newegg’s offered an Edimax AC Wi-Fi adapter for $15 today, half off MSRP

Today, Newegg’s got a good understanding on an AC 1200 nano Wi-Fi adapter that will work with Raspberry Pi, Windows, and Mac. The Edimax EW-7822ULC is $15 on Newegg with a special formula EMCPTRW28.

Granted, roughly each PC we can buy now comes with Wi-Fi built-in. There are times, though, when we need a Wi-Fi dongle adapter: with desktop PCs we build yourself or pick-up on a cheap, a laptop with a blown wireless card, or comparison Raspberry Pi boards.

This is an email deal, that means you’ll have to supply your email on Newegg’s site and determine to get promotional mailers from a retailer.

The MSRP for this Wi-Fi adapter is $30. Newegg’s unchanging sale cost (before a graduation code) is $18, and Amazon’s been offered it for $18-$19 given late final year.

For those who wish to use this with Raspberry Pi you’ll need to do some work on a Terminal as well. Edimax reserve instructions on the Freshdesk patron support site. Linux users might also have to do some depot work to get it operational—though note this dongle doesn’t now work with Linux heart v4.15 as detailed by Edimax.
