Europe versus Google: EC applies record-breaking £2.1 billion anti-trust fine

The European Commission (EC) has fined Google a record-breaking €2.4bn (around £2.1bn), for artificially inflating the popularity of its Shopping service in search results. Banks to face fines totalling €4.7bn in first three years under GDPR

European financial institutions could face fines totalling €4.7bn in the first three years under the incoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). That’s according to a new report from Consult Hyperion, commissioned by AllClearID dubbed Banks, Breaches and Billion Euro Fines.
